This brass elephant statue is a magnificent work of art, expertly crafted with intricate details. The elephant stands tall and proud, with its trunk held high in the air, a symbol of good luck and fortune. The statue depicts two men carrying a lady in a palki, a type of palanquin, which is a portable carriage used in India to transport people of high social status.
The lady in the palki is shown sitting comfortably on a cushion, while the two men carry the carriage on their shoulders. The men are dressed in traditional attire, with turbans on their heads and draped in cloth. The palki is also adorned with decorative elements, such as floral patterns and intricate carvings.
In addition to the elaborate elephant and palki, the statue is also adorned with three bells. The bells are placed on chains and hang from the elephant's neck, and both sides.
