Hand-cast in solid bronze, this masterpiece depicts Lord Vishnu in his Anantashayana (reclining) form, resting gracefully upon the cosmic serpent Sheshanaga, with the ten incarnations — Dashavatara — exquisitely carved into the grand arch behind him.

This stunning figurine encrusts everything that represents Lord Vishnu, the Preserver of Life. Here, Shantam Vishnum reclines gracefully upon the coiled bed of the Saptamukhi (seven-headed) Adi Shesha Naga. At his divine feet sit Lakshmi, his eternal consort, and Alakshmi, both seeking his blessings. From his navel rises a lotus stem (Padma) that forms the seat (asana) of Lord Brahma, the Creator.

Below, each of Vishnu’s Dashavatara is meticulously sculpted — from Matsya to Kalki — while on the side discs, his devoted followers Hanuman and Garuda kneel in reverence, hands joined in eternal devotion.

The Prabhavali (arch) encircling this composition creates a temple-like aura,
